Scott William Mathieson (conceived February 27, 1984) is a Canadian expert baseball pitcher for the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball. 

While playing for the Langley Blaze of the B.C. Head Baseball League, Mathieson was drafted in the seventeenth round of the 2002 Major League Baseball draft – 509th generally speaking – by the Phillies. He made his expert introduction in the Gulf Coast League (GCL), running 0–2 with an earned run normal of 5.40 in seven recreations. In 2003, he ran 2–7 with a 5.52 ERA in the GCL.
