Shogo Akiyama (conceived April 16, 1988 in Yokosuka, Kanagawa) is a Japanese expert baseball outfielder for the Saitama Seibu Lions in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. In 2015, Akiyama set the NPB record for hits in a solitary season with 216,

 outperforming the 214 gathered by Matt Murton of the Hanshin Tigers in 2010.
