Ryan Lavarnway
Ryan Cole Lavarnway (articulated la-VARN-way; conceived August 7, 1987) is an American expert baseball catcher in the Oakland Athletics association. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, and Atlanta Braves.
Lavarnway went to Yale University, where in 2007 he won the NCAA batting title by hitting .467, and drove the NCAA with a .873 slugging rate.
